Very impressed.

I am very impressed by this piece, and you seem quite knowledgable in the field of music. I would be honoured if you took a listen to some of my tunes sometime.

Though I didn't get the image of a medieval dance, it was still quite vivid.

The image I got was that of a empire longing for change, the people in it angry and tired at the same time. Yet there was also subtle sadness in here.

A strange and impressive piece... a bit short though ^^.

surfertmex responds:

Man... Thanks a bunch - I really appreciate your thoughts on this short piece. And just because of this review, I'm going to make it a full song - But yeah thanks man - seeing what other people see in your own music makes it all that much more worth making it. I'll take a look at your pieces as well.

pretty neat!

I must agree with you when you say this is one of your best works. I was quite happy to sit and listen to it for an extended period of time.

I feel if you added some chaotic vocals in the background, it might have been better.

That might just be me, i'm nuts about choirs, but have yet to find a decent VST to create what I truly desire.

GodSpeedIam responds:

You want choirs??? I'LL GIVE YA CHOIRS!!! Seriously, I will. Just not in this song. :D

>XD DX<

This was SO friggen great! HOW do you make these? So friggen hilarious!

GodSpeedIam responds:

I work for an audiobook company. I get lotsa practice in sfx and music.

XD!

OH MY GOD! This would make a friggen AMAZING flash! I laughed so hard.

GodSpeedIam responds:

Anyone's welcome to make a flash out of it. This took me a grand total of about 15 minutes to do from idea to finish. Lunch breaks at my work usually harbor chaos.

interesting.

I feel you could work a bit on volume control. The Celesta Bells (I guess I could call them that) at the beginning starts off too loud, and overpowers the other instruments.

Also if your going to use Sytrus' Techno elements, I advice maybe a flanger effect, it will give your pieces a strange and new feel. Maybe you'll like it.

The beginning also felt a little jumbled, like too much was happening at once, this can be fixed by either removing some notes, or spacing them out a bit more.

overall, pretty good though ^^.

BotonyProduktions responds:

Thanks for the Review. Just to let you know i didnt use any "Sytrus Techno Elements", because, I made this on MTV Music Generator.

interesting.

it is a strange piece, yet a wonderful one. I think it may also be the first time I heard somebody use the police whistle thing in any of their songs.

When the strings kicked in, was a pretty good part.

djnet responds:

i like the strings...my favorite part, thats why its a gold track...:) modesty rules...:-D

great.

when the guitar picks up, thats my favorite part. I like the fret noises you make the guitar make. I'm not sure if thats intentionally created, but if it is, try to make it occur at different times, I was slightly confused if that was a real guitar or not, but then the fret noise occured at the same time and note, and gave it away. Regardless, great work.

djnet responds:

thank you

a bit familiar.

this sounds a bit familiar... I used to use Rpg Maker a fair bit, and there was a midi that sounded like this. I'm quite sure that its not related, but still I loved that song, and I love this one ^^.

djnet responds:

really? ive always wanted to play rpg maker...but ive never played it, thanks for the review though

love the guitar.

hmm, this was quite interesting. I rather enjoyed the uses of instruments, it gets a tad repetitive, but thats alright.

It has a fair amount of ambience in it. When the guitar kicks in, I really began to enjoy the piece.

djnet responds:

Thanks

and the heavens sung...

I swear, the ONLY way this song could be better is if angels LITERALLY came down from some form of higher existence, and begun singing.

But on a serious notes, have you tried adding a choir to this song, I feel it would have a very sentimental and neat effect to have on in the background.

It would also go well with the piano. I found choir goes VERY good with a choir ^^.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

a chior goes very good with a chior?... lol... hahaha.... u made my day. lol I'll consider remaking it with a chior. Thanx again Maestro.

It's been one hell of a ride guys, but it's time for me to leave. I will still be looking at my inbox, if you want me to look at songs, I will check back every once in a while. Take care Newgrounds! full_metal_slashemist@hotmail.com AIM: MaestroSorrow
