Neat

Let me start my review by pointing out the good.

It is a catchy beat, i'll give it that, simple enough to remember easily, and yet complex enough to enjoy.

The pure bass sounds give it a pretty neat feel.

And now for some of the things I think can be improved.

There was a bit too much bass, the distortion was quite large in quantity, and though I understand there isn't exactly anything to compete against it, it will be difficult to add onto it later.

I didn't mind the snare, it wasn't great, but it wasn't annoying or anything either.

My biggest concern is the amount of distortion being created.

Overall, it was pretty good.

Thankyou for your review and i spent alot of time cleaning this song up. i barly here distortion.

Neat.

It is a good song, however the recording was pretty bad. There are noise cancellation softwares out there that would help reduce if not remove the static from recording.

You're quite skilled with that guitar, keep at it.

zerofalse responds:

yeah, im thinking of buying a new mic. thanx for the reveiw

Good stuff.

The name was so amusing and the image I got from the piece combined.

its like an angry possessed Macintosh guy out to get ham or KILL EVERYBODY!

Look at him... walking down the meat section, a smile on his fact, a melody on his breath, with murder on his mind!

The beat was solid, a simplestic, however for your fourth loop, it's good. Everybody starts somewhere, you've got a good start.

keep them coming, one day you will be great.

SpadeLock responds:

Thanks for the review.

Very impressed!

ah classical stuff!!! This is WHERE I SHINE BABY!

Okay the xylaphone or bells you used in the back should resonate more in my opinion, they just plink, they should twinkle!!! Otherwise it sounds a bit out of place. Maybe replace that sound completely with a piano.

The strings were well utilized, I lovedored them, like my own children I will adopt one day.

The ending was a bit confusing. Too much going on too randomly.

I think a good solid brass going on the background would elevate the mood. Like have french horns, or the trombones playing long stretched notes in the background.

The strings going on with the flute (I think its the flute) worked very well in my opinion.

The swapping of instruments back and forth was also a good idea, it flows well.

Have you considered Orchestral hits in this piece? I can think of a few places that it would just ROCK to have.

Over zorgasmic stuff.

you've easily bypassed my expectations once again, *5'age from me*

Khuskan responds:

The ending. Yup. The ending. I cry when I think of it. That was an automation and quantisational DISASTER. About half the notes are completely out of time, and the only reason it sounds almost slightly right is because of the overpowering brass I added to drown it out.

Yup, I'm critising myself...

Orch hits eh? I'll have to build a combinator for that, I've never tried to make one before but yes, that would work pretty well.

Quite impressed!

Hey, look at me, first time reviewing Khuskan's stuff... should I go all brutal... or all honest?

Honest.

T'was great.

The volume levels were what really did it for me, everything was PERFECTLY adjusted, the Equalizing can be said the same.

The melody was pretty good. The background beat was solid.

The Vox was friggen zorgasmic. Congratulations, you've become my techno idol!

Now for some suggestions.
uuuh... hmmm... errr... theres something I can comment on... I'M SURE OF IT!! I must put together all my weak techno knowledge!

Screw it, can't think of anything to improve on.

*5'age*

Khuskan responds:

I'm getting my female vocalist to redo the vocals for me. Is that what you're looking for?

Neat stuff.

I loved it!

I see you were using Sytrus, heh, I nenember when I used that left and right.

The melody was great, I loved it, though if you got some better VST's it would make it sound a lot better.

Great job though, 5/5 for the time spent on it.

Good planning.

Xiro responds:

Thank you muchly!

Yeah, I was kind of limited on what I could use, I don't have too many expansions on the programs I have, so my pallete is sadly rather limited....

Quite neat.

Its a very mean, cruel track, and I loved it! I listened to it like 10-15 times, before I realized that it was looping. What does this mean?

It means that the short loop was good enough to keep me absolutely entertained until after a good amount of time had passed.

Its simple, but extremely effective.

For a loop, its very good.

4/5 from me.

Chrizzly responds:

Hahaha...omg 15 times?...yeah its quite a loop...that was one nice review....i thank you greatly...im not sure if even i have listened thru it 15 times...well i guess i have...another pretty "extremely effective" tune is the Warrior Night tune...its pretty much the same style not as "army-like" though....thanx again...

Very Impressive!

There is a fairly large amount of static in this recording, when you're recording your guitar, you should acquire a program to cancel out the static, I don't know any because I don't record anything, but I know these programs exist.

The beginning wasn't tense at all, but very soft and relaxing, as it progressed however, it became more and more complex. And then the main part of the song kicked in, and it began to sound really cool.

Again the only program here was the static and high frequency stabs from the recording. Also there was a bit too much distortion, I think you could have applied a compresser effect (if your using FL Studio, which I think you are), to cancel out that distortion. The heavy distortion though may give a dark feeling, it destroys the guitar in the background, making it sound choppy.

I wrote so much, because I really care for this peace, it was great.

5/5 from me.

Keep them coming.

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Yeah, I've got to get around to finding a program to get rid of the static. And no I'm not using FL studio for my guitar recordings, only my "electronic" stuff. I use Audacity for any and all guitar recordings. And there is no "distortion" so to say, that "distortion" you hear is natural acoustic, it IS the guitar, I'm just using the reverb to help overdrive my amp to give it a dark booming sound. It was totally intentional, of course I've had mixed reviews about it, personally, I like it, looking forward to finding more ways to use it.
Again, thanks for the review!

So annoying, its good!

XD!

I don't know why, I found this HEELARIOUS. So annoying, and yet so pleasent it wouldn't go away from my head!

Congrats for making something so annoying its good ^^.

toxicbomb responds:

Haha, sweet :) Thanks!

Constant beat.

its supposed to have a constant beat Tebone7!

I quite enjoyed it, the progression was indeed a tad slow, but was worth waiting for.

The insane effects and sounds just jumping out was what really made it enjoyable for me, quite the experience. Keep at it.

DJdarkangel responds:

Thank you Maestro :)

Well this isn't really one of my best, but it just sorta bursted out of me while i was trying out some new samples that i got :)

Cyaz
DarkAngel out...
