THATS AMAZING!

XD!

I fell OFF MY CHAIR! and I hurt my arm!

GodSpeedIam responds:

I'm sorry, please don't sue us!

Great stuff!

oh my god, I have commited the DANGEROUS and redonkeyless sin of not visiting your grand page!!! for this I must repent by the listening of all your tracks!

The animal noises gave it an INCREDIBLE feel to it, I absolutely adored it, and the simple, yet effect drum beats, amazing.

The melody was also exceptional MrMaestro.

You complete me ^^.

easily a 5/5 from me MrMaestro, keep them coming!!

DavidOrr responds:

:) thanks

Amazing...

the choir here was EXCEPTIONAL, where did you find it?! YOU MUST TELL ME!!!

The chanting I agree, was simply AMAZING, you must now tell me from where you got this chant. Sounds like Gregarion chants, and I love those chants.

I have no suggestions to improve this piece, this piece is simply wonderful!

If I may take a stab at what choir VST you used, is it EastWest Symphonic Choirs?

EASILY a 5/5 from me Darkninja, I absolutely adored this piece, keep them coming.

Darkninja604 responds:

It was a mixture of voice editing, and an old chior. Not bad eh?

Thanks for the review:)

Quite impressive.

It loops exceptional! So top marks on that.

I liked the instrument choices on this one, but for some reason, the instruments sounded a bit flat, if you know what I mean, the crash symbol sounded more flexible then the rest of the song.

I wouldn't change the symbol, but use it less frequently, after listening to it loop for 3+ times, it begins to get slightly irratating.

Still, pretty impressive.

5/5 from me again Grumbleduke, keep them coming ^^.

Grumbleduke responds:

I know what you mean by flat; this was a Cakewalk production, and the soundcard is not fantastic. Funny, I didn't really think about the cymbal, I just put it in, but it is a bit annoying after a while, you are right.

Good news though! I'll be getting Garageband back; A MacMini is on the way, bought just for makiing music with (for work of course ;) ). Some new things written for Newgrounds users shall appear.

Impressiveness!

The powerful ruler stands on his balcony, peering down on the masses.

KILL THEM ALL!

heh, just my messed up imagery. It is quite packed with energy, the strange instruments you picked, worked out quite well, kudo's on that.

4/5 from me cuz it was so short, and I was weeping for more T-T. Keep them coming Hermit.

Hermit-Canal responds:

Yeah, Thanks alot, more coming
don't worry about that...

I like the imagery.

Nice!

hmm, that guitar and organ duet... now THAT was a good idea!

The transition to the organ though... I don't know if that was handled in the best sense, the guitar kinda just died out, and let the organ sing its heart out. I personally would have liked to hear that guitar die out with a BANG, you know, put some sound effect, or something to let the listeners know somethings changed or goingto change.

However I am not that well versed in classical rock, so forgive me if I suggested something that doesn't make much sense ^^.

still 5/5 from me, keep them coming.

Love-Hate-War responds:

Yeh I know, im notoriously bad at transitions, I think of an idea and then BAM, another one, and forget the transition, ah well. Thanks for the review! :D

(insert compliment here)

The intro didn't really work out man, it sounded a bit strange.

But then... the main chunk of the song kicked in, and I felt all shivery inside. The strings commanded my attention, however maybe too much, this time they overpowered everything, and I couldn't hear the other instruments very well. Overall I feel that perhaps some eq work could be made.

Still, the melody was just friggen ramazing! So very very tense and dark.

5/5 from me again Kimken, keep them coming.

Kimken responds:

Yeah.. I think you're right, but really I enjoy making music the way I like it. I mean that "I make it my way", but of course I'll take your advice and try to make some adjustments later on.

Thanks again for the review Maestro!
Ps. this was just for fun sake

Good stuff.

dark, 0 voters will never leave a comment, especially if they have work themselves they want to protect.

There is no stopping them.

However I hope I can help remedy the situation.

leaving behind the rant, onto the review!

As the name suggests, its a very tense, and dark moment, I feel like the song could go SNAP on me at any time, and go insane, i'm not saying you should, i'm saying it has that quality to it, and thats what makes it interesting to listen to, very tense.

You have a very interesting beat in the background, I rather enjoy the percussional work.

That pad you used at the ending, was very well placed, just flew by me ^^.

The only thing this is missing, is a few more sound effects you know, maybe throw in some reverbed screams to have it sound scarier.

Still, great work.

5/5 from me DJdarkangel, keep them coming.

DJdarkangel responds:

Hi there

Yeah i know... i just lost my cool back there.
Sorta took it out on the wall (and my hand) later

Buuut anywayz

10x for the review

Wow SNAP :) that really lights me up :D

Yeah i also think that it's a little dry, i tried several times to make it a little more energetic and/or darker but the result wasn't good so i decided to leave it at that :)

DarkAngel out...

Greatly improved

it has improved rather dramatically!

The vocal stabs as usual, were great, and was the rain more detailed in this piece?

it doesn't matter, here comes THE SAW!!!

*does the wave*

I am glad to hear it extended, truly now I have some time to live in it.

After the saw ended there was a second of silence, in my opinion, when a second of silence is introduced it generally means, BIG BANG HAPPENING, it didn't happen, that was okay of course, but that is the feel I felt I was going to get with that transition.

The strings, were very powerful, well done on that part.

And now HERE COMES BACK THE SAW!

And the thunder, wow! My suggestions for the thunder my friend, reverb reverb reverb! Give it a nice hallow and delay effect so it goes BOOM-OOm-oom-om.

The rain cuts out a bit too quickly, and suddenly.

Still great improvement, i'm glad you decided to finish it, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
5/5 from me Echo, keep them coming, i'll keep listening.

XxEchoxX responds:

Yea, I did decide to change up some of the rain in this one, the other seemed a bit to dull. I also noticed after submission that parts of the rain did cut off the quickly...too bad. But anyway thanks for the review and your input really appreciate it.

-Echo-

one day... you WILL be shot...

the anticipation to what your going to throw at me when I was sitting and watching that pad get louder and louder and louder... I can never get enough of that effect!

I love the way it started slow after the cliff hanger, and built up again, I LOVE THOSE BUILD UPS! I was expecting a grand BOOM, and I got a grand melody, which in my opinion is just as good if not better.

The ONLY suggestion that comes to mind was I would have liked to hear some strange and new sound effects in there, of course for this song, I can understand why there weren't many.

I feel like I can take the world, and crush it with this song, gives me fuel to exist ^^, many thanks for that.

Again, you've easily reached and bypassed my standards William, 5/5 for you.

MattBlair responds:

OMG I love you. Thanks for this insanely awesome review bro!

It's been one hell of a ride guys, but it's time for me to leave. I will still be looking at my inbox, if you want me to look at songs, I will check back every once in a while. Take care Newgrounds! full_metal_slashemist@hotmail.com AIM: MaestroSorrow
