Good stuff.

i'm not a really big jazz fan, but I did enjoy listening to this, your band is quite skilled.

I am not skilled enough in the jazz department to be giving you suggestions or anything of the sort, so i'll cut it here.

4/5 from me Astralimits, hope your jazz band becomes big one day ^^.

Inspiring

I loved this even more then Time's Scar.

I was once again, deeply moved by the guitar... I would kill to hear you play this live, having it recorded makes it lose like 50% of its power... at least thats what I feel.

Still it moved me quite a bit.

5/5 from me again Star250, keep them coming.

Star250 responds:

Thank you very much. I recorded it with a gaming mic that I balanced on my knee. The mic records everything so you can bearly hear it, so I have to increse the volume like 8 times with windows recorder. I hope to get a real mic soon. Thanks again.

Amazing.

you are very skilled with that guitar Star250... I am a GREAT fan of the acoustic guitar, and listening to this theme, with your playing, has moved me to no ends.

I thank you for this piece, keep them coming.

(I gave you 5 for originatly cuz it was from Chrono Cross ;), a 3 in diversity cuz it was just that one amazing guitar. )
5/5 from me.

Star250 responds:

Thanks again. My tempo was all over the place, I can play this better but i'll just wait until i get a real microphone.

Again, I was quite moved.

hmmm, very grand, bordering with epic ^^.

The volume levels in my opinion, were PERFECT in this version, nothing competes, everything flows together. I liked the flute section, where everything dims down, and the flute has a say in the song.

That was my favorite part, because it gave a feeling of homesickness, or a longing to be somewhere familiar, it was painful to hear.

And those bells you introduce in the beginning and after the slow section, work really well.

Again, an easy 5/5 from me ^^. I feel though, if you had used good quality VST's, this would have been borderline orgasmic. Don't get me wrong, its ABSOLUTELY amazing the way it is, melody wise you've got that covered. I was just wondering to myself howit would have sounded with a VST like Garritan's personal Orchestra, or Edirol Orchestral...

Great work smartpoetic, keep them coming ^^.

SuperTonic64 responds:

Thanks for your rereview MaestroSorrow! ^_^

I'm glad you liked the slower section, MaestroSorrow! In truth, I've been waiting to use that melody for a year now, and I finally found something to tie it in with. :) (I'm also glad you liked the bells! :D I had some other people listen to this song and critiqe it...and they didn't like the bells section that much... :P :))

I'm taking your's and WinterWind's advice. I'm going to purchase Garritan's Personal Orchestra (hopefully by March! :D) and I'll try using that program for this piece!

I want to get better at writing music, and I also want to provide better sounding music for everyone! So I will save every penny I can to get the program. :)

Zorgasmic

Damn sweet... you have an intense understanding of music... I have a great respect to your music, for sure its very powerful.

I am at a loss of words, and have no suggestions.

Except that I felt the piano jumps in a bit too fast, maybe have the strings come in first, and then the piano can join it, as it stands, I feel its a bit rushed.

Still until I find a way to vote 50/5, a 5/5 will have to suffice.

Keep them coming, I loved this.

Beat

ah I see this is fast paced like your Cocain demo, however I like this one more, the effects you have going are pretty damn neat, and their constant use was a good idea. They are however a bit too loud, they hide the other instrument noises.

I enjoyed the melody, its a loop so i'm afraid I can't give you much more constructive criticism ^^, keep them coming DJdarkangel.

4/5 from me.

(Insert Compliment Here)

is that a Flanger I heareth?

Heh, not bad, I rather like it, like your other pieces, they are quite original! I adore your style Redse7en... I may have to destroy you and take your brain...

until that freightful day (for you), heres yet ANOTHER 5/5 from me.

Redse7en responds:

LoL.. I spent such a long time on this piece. All done in one sitting :D I had no brain while I did it, it seems. My fingers just kept moving. Thank you so much for your support! More on the way!

Very awesome!

I have no idea why this has such a low score... could it be you've already been attacked by the onslaught of 0 voters!!!

Heh, it seems so, fear not my friend, we are all bitten by said people.

I will do my best to counter them ^^.

I really liked the melody in this piece, though I feel the slayer could have been made a bit louder, it makes for good ambient like this, but to have it UP AND GOING like your drumbeat seems to suggest, it should be louder...

however when the guitar solo kicks in, thats perfect volume, that statement before was directed to the first time you introduced the slayer instrument (I could be wrong maybe its not even slayer).

Sorry if that was a confusing X_x.

still 5/5 from me again Redse7en, great stuff, keep it coming.

Redse7en responds:

Thanks! This piece was indeed experimental when I first started it. I didn't think it would sound good in the end. The fl_slayer plugin was a bit hard to control at times but after much tweaking I got a nice guitar in there. Well don't worry I'm not done with this one yet... I intended the songer to be longer.

Very professional sounding

you are quite original, and very talented. I will do everything to get you some rightfully deserved recognition!

Its a sweet remix, easily claims my 5/5.

Keep them coming Redse7en, i'll keep on listening.

Redse7en responds:

I appreciate the compliment. More will be uploaded today. Im actually trying to use melodies from my old songs and re-furbish them. It will definately be interesting.

Very grand indeed!

Damn Sine... always making the smart suggestions, and the ONLY ONE I HAD TOO!

Hee, well i'll try to make more then.

First off, I loved it, very heroic indeed, a grand adventure in which they travel (ONWARDS GIMLY!)

Okay god damnit, I can't think of anything to make it better >_<!

I was thinking maybe some timpini in there for transition aid, but thats not really necessary.

easily a 5/5 from me smartpoetic, so much effort was put into this, I can really tell.

SuperTonic64 responds:

Thank you so much Maestrosorrow! ^_^

I will take you suggestions and try to make this song better. :)

(Btw, I love your works! They're awesome! :O)

It's been one hell of a ride guys, but it's time for me to leave. I will still be looking at my inbox, if you want me to look at songs, I will check back every once in a while. Take care Newgrounds! full_metal_slashemist@hotmail.com AIM: MaestroSorrow
