Very impressed

I was VERY taken by this song. It was so deliciously evil and plotting style. The images I formed with this piece are all intense... if only I could show you ^^.

Congrats man, you've got a ton of skill!

niftyhero responds:

Thanks. I spent a *FOREVER* writing it.

Very impressed.

I did quite enjoy it Zenon. When you get back from hells punishment, do continue your great service to NG.

my favorite evil bad guy ^^!

my favorite evil bad guy... so much do I adore the man called Sephiroth, I have fired the devil on my shoulder, and replaced him with this bad boy.

The intro was a bit wierd, and the saw in the background overpowered the organ a tad bit. I think I heard a choir in the background, but I am uncertain.

An interesting project you might want to try, is merging One Winged Angel with this theme... I plan to do so sometime.

DemonicScythe responds:

Yeah the saw does over power it a bit but atleast its still a good peice... and no there was no choir its a combo of instruments that creates the "Choir" feel.

Thanks for all your reveiws.

great stuff.

The melody for this one was very pleasing! My friend you just need to get some better VST's. Because I could hear this SO well with a grand piano, maybe a pan pipe, or oboe to accompony it...

I'm sure if you upped the quality of the instruments, you'd score much higher.

DemonicScythe responds:

I know i need better instrument/samples but alas i dont have the money for most of them could you direct me to some good free samples?

Very impressed.

You have done very well in this piece. I can feel the energy and mood, they both flow very nicely. This is the feel of music I plan to incorporate into my own music one day. You have already reached that point, heh, I will have to catch up ;).

Great job.

Also, wtf is up with all these low scores... I will do my best to counter the retards.

DemonicScythe responds:

I'm a depressed person with nothing to do so i make music this is probably the best song ive done yet... most of my other things dont loop very well as you can tell.

thanks for the reveiw!

Very impressed.

for your first submission this is extroardinarily good. I personally am a classic composer, but this piece was more then plenty to keep me listening.

You have the ear, you have the talent, now all you need is the practice ^^.

Also, eq'ing means equalizing. Its a effect in Fruity Studio's (press f9 to bring up effects box), it allows you to alter your sounds and their respective volumes. So you could make bass much higher, reduce treble, maybe play around with both. Play around with it, the better you get at eq'ing, the better you pieces will be.

jazzifiedfizzle responds:

thanks for telling me, ill have to try that. i've been pretty busy lately though and i'm trying out a new program i just got, so i'm not sure when i can bust out another song. hopefully sooner than later

excellent.

I like the drumline, and the strings were quite interesting. This would work well in a movie or game, because it does not draw too much attention, whilst still staying interesting. I feel this would have worked better in Ambiance.

Also, where did you get the choir VST? I've been searching day and night for a VST that would produce choir sounds!

extraordinary

This piece was extraordinarily strange... there were multiple images being said to me, whilst changing the story at random. I've never really experienced it before.

The beginning and ending had some sour notes, but even those in the end only served to make the images more enthralling. Sweet stuff.

Also wtf is wrong with people... why so low on scores?

the images I see.

the progression of this song is what really drew me in. So depressing and painful, and then more voices join in with the dance of sorrow... if only I could show you the images I saw...

be nice eh?

you said be nice, but thats pretty hard to do when something of this magnititude isn't finished!!!

WWWHHHHYYYY!!?

I would kill to hear this live... Even just recording it and putting the piece up here would be a service to NG and myself.

It's been one hell of a ride guys, but it's time for me to leave. I will still be looking at my inbox, if you want me to look at songs, I will check back every once in a while. Take care Newgrounds! full_metal_slashemist@hotmail.com AIM: MaestroSorrow
