Nice

It was rather enjoyable. The bells that pop up are a bit too loud though, it hurt my ears when they came in.

The beat again, is solid and enjoyable. Good job.

Razorfangs responds:

Haha. Thanks for the review. It means a lot. I'll try to make more techno songs in the future.

Impressed

sorry... had to break you order...

DANCING CAME FIRST! XD!

then I downloaded, then I reviewed, and now i'm off to vote!

Word of advice, use a compresser to remove the IMMENSE distortion in this piece. It was really enjoyable, but it was so heavily distorted it kinda ruined my fun.

attemptedperfection responds:

yeah...
I kinda liked the distortion before,
but now I'm having second thoughts...
just a tad too much...
Anyway,
Thanks for the review!

nifty.

so simple, yet it was quite amusing. Definatly usable in a comical moment. Though I think another instrument usage would have made it more humerous to listen to, something strange, that nobody normall listens to.

So very impressed!

I see the dark demons possessed your brain and commanded your fingers to this masterpiece!

The melody was PRICELESS.

The high pitched notes made the song sound fragile, delicate, yet powerful. Literally on the brink of breaking, or in this case, darkness and madness itself.

I had the image of a guy in a dark corner, holding his head, screaming, slowly losing his mind and humanity...

there were others, I don't have time or room to write! However you've done very good to select the high pitched piano, it really did the piece justice.

The build up transition also worked nicely, the beat with the brass and piano, worked very good.

5/5

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Hear that Winterwind!... Maestro likes it. Muhahaha!... I'm so dark. lol thanx man

Very impressed.

definatly a battle theme!

There they go, charging to their dooms... silly warriors, TAKE OUT YOUR SWORD... IDIOT!

heh, sorry. It has a fantasy/futuristic feel, so I was rather confused which image in my brain I should go with. I finally decided it has a bit more fantasy feel to it then techno.

I think this may be my favorite amongst what you have here.

(The part where the flutes kick in was roxors my boxors)
5/5

poo-on-you responds:

Wow thanks for the review :D

Yeah, techincally, although this isn't really like most techno music, it is electronica, so I just classified it as techno ^__^

I'm a little lost about the flutes though :P Maybe you meant one of the synths? Hehe oh well it's good that you like it :D

Impressed

yeah, the intro was a little strange. However as it progressed, it was really good!

And you were right, when the guitar kicked in, it became a lot better.

This is my advice.

The guitar is too quiet, I can't hear it properly. Also I feel the guitar instrument itself could be modified, perhaps add a reverb, delay, and overdrive effect to it. Maybe not all of them, that might be overkill, but that guitar part should be worked on.

Still very good.

i'd give you 4.4/5, but unfortunatly it has to be whole, so 4/5.

Keep em coming.

poo-on-you responds:

Thanks for the review, your reviews are really great :D

Yeah, I need to work on leveling, I have this problem with all my songs it seems: It's either too quiet, or it's loud enough, but then it's peaky and distorted. I've just got to practice ^__^

Thanks for the great review :D

Impressed

it has a very peaceful and relaxing feel to it, and yet it has a subtle hint of energy and action. This piece can be used in a HUGE amount of ways, in nearly any situation (if timed and placed right).

It got a little wierd with the flanger instrument, but it was still good there as well. I just think the transition to that flanger instrument should be slower and more fluent.

And then after that, the melody that kicks in, was also really enjoyable. I'm not sure if you used it, but a delay effect might be an interesting addition to the song.

Libban responds:

Wow man thanks for the review. I agree, that transition needs some work, I just wanted to post it out there and see what the initial reaction was. Thanks for listening!

Neat

heh, I can see why you find it entertaining to make, it sure as hell was entertaining to listen to.

5/5.

Good job.

Ivan-Ether responds:

'Twas. Glad you liked it ^^.

It's been one hell of a ride guys, but it's time for me to leave. I will still be looking at my inbox, if you want me to look at songs, I will check back every once in a while. Take care Newgrounds! full_metal_slashemist@hotmail.com AIM: MaestroSorrow
