Impressed

I also really liked how this turned out. A very effective trance/ambient effect. I feel it would have done better in those catagories.

I don't think i've ever heard anything like this, it was very interesting to sit and listen to it. Keep them coming ^^.

PS.
I gave originality a 5 cuz you resequenced the song from a video game ^^.

Ivan-Ether responds:

I didn't know what the exact catagory to put it in. I paniced -__-;

Glad you liked this one too ^^.

Interesting

I quite agree, that randomization creates an interesting and intrigueing effect. I've never been able to pull off random notes myself, however you've managed to pull it off rather nicely.

From where you started, to where you are now, is literally a quantuam leap.

Keep it up, don't disappoint >:O.

DemonicScythe responds:

I meant mostly useing the randomize option for the instrument but i did use a few random notes, the trick to that is to use the random option for the piano roll and taking out the notes you dont like and the ones you like to make it sound better and sound like its not random at all its pretty useful if its used in the correct manner you also have to change the seed around alot or just keep searching untill you get somthing reasonable.

Impressive.

Definatly a last battle theme, could be used for fighting a really evil or dark boss. Preferriably a sly/cunning/tricky one. It has those qualities to it, and cunning/tricky melodies are really hard to come by forget create.

Congrats on a piece well done.

You just need to find a better choir sound ^^.

Great.

This will definatly work in flash. Excpet in the middle where I can only imagine you used some insane Flanger effect. I really feel that should be removed man, it made the notes turn all sour, and it was a slight distraction.

However the beat is solid and enjoyable, so kudo's on that.

PERVOK responds:

Hahaha...does it really sound lie a flanger?
Well...all i did was play with the pitch knob :D

It was gewd fun, but hey.

Thanks for 2 reveiws!!

Impressed.

I'd definatly finish it, it sounds quite impressive. It sounds like a really great intro to a piece thats about to get ALL IN YOUR FACE at any given time.

PERVOK responds:

thanks for the review, man!

Impressive.

well i'm back to hear some more zorgasmic stuff.

And thankfully you didn't disappoint.

The melody here is what really blew me away. The electric guitar's volume was acceptable, however I still think if you lowered it a bit it would help.

The background stuff was the real candy! The pad's were well utilized as well. Congrats on my behalf.

DemonicScythe responds:

I knew i shoulda turned down the volume a little more on the main guitar... although it is the main instrument in the whole.

i think that the melodie is kinda weird myself like somthing from arabia or somthing... 0.o but i am the one that made it up

Pretty good.

I felt that there were some room improvements here.

The bass REALLY overpowered the other instruments, making them difficult to hear, and distorted. Try EQ'ing the instruments or lowering its volume

Also the background instruments would sound quite a bit cooler with a delay effect. Congrats, nice.

sente3 responds:

My friend said soumething about the bass too. Then i realized that I had turned the volume for it all the way up. Well ill fix it.

Very impressed.

This song I really liked! I loved its calm melody and yet excited voice.

it also loops very well, so I can listen to it for long periods of time without realizing where it starts and ends, very well done.

I love the choice of instruments you picked, this definatly gets a 5 from me!

Keep it up.

nice.

This was quite strange, constantly washing back and forth with instruments. I rather enjoyed it, good work.

Sytrus Huh.

used Sytrus huh? Heh, yeah I nemember using that left and right at first too.

The Sytrus Sequence instruments sound better if you keep using them without alterations. So they make good long base sounds, I wouldn't use them for melody.

It's been one hell of a ride guys, but it's time for me to leave. I will still be looking at my inbox, if you want me to look at songs, I will check back every once in a while. Take care Newgrounds! full_metal_slashemist@hotmail.com AIM: MaestroSorrow
