Neat!

I absolutely ADORED this piece! I am a classical composer myself, so I feel this song was just damn awesome.

I gotta be honest though, I didn't quite appreciate the "Dj's calling" thing, just ruined the mood for me.

This song sounds familiar, but I can't really pinpoint from where.

Major filter mess up later on cangrinaje X_x.

I don't know if it was intentional, but there were some laggage sounds too :P, that couldn't have been by mistake, come on ^^.

Still, good stuff.

cante responds:

thanks for the comemnt i dotn knwo i barely got the dj callignt hing as a sound fx so u know when u get new stuff u lov to try it out

Sweetness

wow, what a pleasent surprise! When I saw Trance, I thought this would be the cliche electronica music, but with so many ethnic and exotic sounds to greet me instead. I was VERY impressed.

It sounds extremely vivid and interesting, I could sway with this song for a while.

It gets muddled in some areas when you bring in too many instruments, but the melody is sweet and stable.

Mixing the melody up from time to time wouldn't hurt either dj_cangrinaje ^^.

5/5 from me, keep them coming.

cante responds:

thanks man yeah ill try to not mesh to many isnturments and mix it up a bit

Great stuff

Sweet, gentle and relaxing ^^.

I'm sorry I don't have much time to write as much as I would like, but I really liked this. 5/5 from me.

franklind23 responds:

no problem, thanks for the review ^_^

Impressive.

I found it very neat, and listened to it for a long time without end ^^. As a classical composer myself I place a lot of priority of melody and flow of the song, both of which you have shown me with great skill.

I don't know what the other guy was talking about either, there was no thumping on my end.

I have nothing to add to this song, it was very good, and I am quite impressed.

5/5 from me franklind23, keep them coming ^^.

franklind23 responds:

thank you very much Maestro! I will definitely check out some of your stuff =)

Great stuff!

very interesting story you tell me here Lone.

The organ intro was very interesting, have you considered reverbing it? I feel because this IS a church song, having it have a reverb sound, so that it sounds like its in a cathedral, would increase this songs power ten fold!

Also be careful how you use those bells, bells are effective when used sparingly, and when you make them play whole melodies like that, it can lose its effectiveness, and even ruin the melody to a lesser degree. I would recommend replacing the bells with tubelar bells. I know they sound the same, but they really don't, Tubelar bells are much quicker, and sound lighter. Maybe you did use them here, not sure what Acid has X_x.

The choir part was damn awesome, I enjoyed that to no end.

The piano crash ending, though probably not the best way to end the piece, was definatly an interesting twist ^^.

4/5 from me LoneInstrumentalist, keep them coming man ^^. I'll tell you all about VST's and why you should use them to up your music powers.

LoneInstrumentalist responds:

yooohoooo~*waves a flag* im alive u knooo~

anyway.....thanks for another great review X]

heh, u kno, i was like "hmmm...sumthin's missing...." when this is uploading...
....after its done, i was O,O F************************

ahh well, it happens eh >.<

trying to fix up the first 2 songs up before settling down to FL6

cheerios~ thanks a million~

Good stuff

It is a rather simple beat, but it is also catchy. I feel this is perfect ambiance music.

Some more instruments and variation couldn't hurt you know ;), though I suppose that would destroy the whole ambiance feel to it.

Not bad, pretty useful for flashes, so congrats. Loops pretty decently too.

4/5 from me, keep them coming.

FoxTechno responds:

CHEERS MATE, I think i should of put a bit more syimbles, and bass, make it slitly better, But i think i ran out of buttons to put different afects in the music.

thanks again,

Uberness

Aladdin on magical sugar?! Damn that genie... probably gave him crack as a practical joke, now Aladdin's just walking the bazaar thinking he's floating on clouds without his little carpet thingy >_>.

Nuff with that, ONTO THE REVIEW!

Your description and title made me think of this as a faster song, right now I think its bordering with Trance/Ambiance, leaning more towards Trance.

Very interesting instrumentation choices. I was skeptical at first, and was wondering if it truly worked out, but upon careful consideration, I feel it does.

I would have liked to hear some variation in the percussional stuff, its a neat catchy beat, but some mixage up wouldn't have hurt ^^.

5/5 from me ShinDenjin, good stuff, keep them coming.

ShinDenjin responds:

The Maestro lays it down. Thanks man^_^

Grood stuff.

Never played Halo 2, or at least not the extent where I would begin recognizing songs, but I definatly enjoyed this song a very good deal.

I see you have found some very very good choir sounds... you will share them with me, or I will destroy thee!

It sounds damn fine, and the choice of instrumentation was also pretty damn good.

As I don't know exactly what the original song sounded like, I can not give you any feedback or advice concerning that.

Great stuff Ivan. 5/5... again >_>. Though I think you should stick to making original tracks, they do sound so awesome so ^^. Keep them coming.

Ivan-Ether responds:

If you can believe it, the Choir is actually all VSTed MIDIs.

Never played Halo 2!? You're missing out! Some people may dissagree with me, but I think it's one of the best games around.

Oh well ^^. Thanks for the review.

Hard core DnB!

I liked how it started off, right away again it introduces you to the songs core without side stepping or nothing, just "BAM HERE I IS!"

Some very interesing synths, very interesting indeed, they all added their own little say into the song.

Though I realize this is a DnB song, I would like to hear some form of higher melody, you know, a nice energetic synth that goes bleep bleep bleep. That could very well just be me, i'm very into melodies ;).

Also I listened to this song three times before I realized it was looping, I think this is your most flawless looping piece to date.

For some reason when I hear those rapid shakers I envision this small ADD child just going nuts shaking them like nobodies business XD. Then again, I have the strangest visions with music.

Extremely interesting, and worth the listen, keep them coming Ivan, another 5/5 from me ^^.

Ivan-Ether responds:

LOL. You're so mean xD.

Looping is fun. And it's not really that hard to do. But since I have a different program that you, I guess FL has a different system.

Thanks for the Rev. (ADD LOL!!!!!)

Very impressive!

I love the intro escapologist, sets me in the mood RIGHT AWAY. It's very catchy, and very very inviting to tell me its story.

It has a very dark and impressive atmosphere throughout the whole song, and I truly appreciate the string works.

I didn't quite like how it ended so suddenly, I would have preferred a fade out over just hanging.

still, way cool.

5/5 from me, keep them coming!

It's been one hell of a ride guys, but it's time for me to leave. I will still be looking at my inbox, if you want me to look at songs, I will check back every once in a while. Take care Newgrounds! full_metal_slashemist@hotmail.com AIM: MaestroSorrow
